Work Assignments 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Develop and execute verification plans for digital and mixed-signal ICs, ensuring alignment with design specifications. 
  • Create, implement, and maintain verification environments using industry-standard tools and methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog). 
  • Collaborate with design and system engineering teams to define verification requirements and resolve issues. 
  • Perform functional and regression testing to ensure design correctness and compliance with standards. 
  • Debug and troubleshoot simulation failures and propose design fixes. 
  • Contribute to the development and automation of verification flows to enhance productivity. 
  • Document verification processes, results, and methodologies. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in IC verification. 

Required Profile 

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and detail-oriented IC Verification Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of integrated circuit designs. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in IC verification, including the use of simulation tools and verification methodologies. 
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and other hardware description and verification languages. 
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics). 
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL) for automation purposes. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.  

The following qualifications will be considered a plus: 

  • Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal verification techniques. 
  • Open-source development tools experience: Linux, GitHub, Makefiles, Python, etc. 
  • Experience with FPGA prototyping and emulation. 
  • Theoretical and/or practical background on formal methods. 
  • Familiarity with low-power design and verification methodologies. 
  • Understanding of hardware-software co-verification. 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies in a hardware design environment. 
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Catalan.
